The Olympics🥇

Guten tag bloggers, I hope you had an amazing holiday because I'm going to be talking about the Olympics and showing you some of my work. A bit of last term and this term we have been looking at the  Olympics and its history. The Olympics started in ancient greece at olympia and if you won you got a crown but you had to speak greek to enter and it was only men that could compete. At first it was one day then two then three then four then five days and there were more and more sports like wrestling, javelin throwing, discus, running in amour and boxing. but it stopped in 393 A.D. until 1896 which is 1,500 years apart.

As work we had to name all the sports by their logos. There was a key telling us what sports were on the slide but not which one it was. It was a bit hard but I managed to do it Have a look.

  1. Kia Ora Marcus!

I really enjoyed learning about the different logos as part of the Olympics. It's really cool how they can capture an entire sport in an image.
Are you going to watch the Paralympics next week as well?

Keep up the awesome blogging :)

  2. Hi Marcus! Your slideshow is a little too big, anyway I like the little information you added in the Paragraph above the slideshow! I checked my slideshow and we got the same answers (Apart from slide 8) Maybe next time you could check your capital letters because I saw some missing. Anyway thanks for sharing your learning with me and also reading my comment. Have a great day or night and blog ya later!
